Area 5 is located at the base of the rims at the 6th avenue north Interchange. The Starting point will be marked with a road cone/candle. Parking is available in the Applebees parking lot. A group leader will provide a safety orientation and volunteers will cross the road as a group. This area steep terrain, uneven ground, single track trails, and numerous cliff edges. This area has challenging terrain, is not family friendly, and not recommended for individuals with mobility issues.
